The BambooHR integration allows you to import Time Offs from BambooHR to Metric.

How to Connect

  1. In Metric, select Settings from the left-side menu
  2. Open the Integrations section
  3. Click the +NEW INTEGRATION button
  4. Select BambooHR from the list of integrations
  5. Enter the Company Domain (the domain that you are using to login into BambooHR, for example, metric if your link is https://metric.bamboohr.com) API Key generated on the BambooHR side

  6. Run the Force Update

  7. Go to Configure
  8. Select a Metric Time Off project to import Time Offs from BambooHR. If you don't have a suitable Time Off project in Metric, create it.

  9. Select the employees' auto-mapping behavior:
    • Don't Auto-map - select it if you are going to map employees manually
    • Auto-map by email - Metric employees and BambooHR users with the same email in both systems will be automatically mapped
    • Auto-map by name - Metric employees and BambooHR users with the same name in both systems will be automatically mapped

  10. Save the Configuration and run the Force Update to apply it

Employees Auto-mapping

This setting allows you to select the behavior of employees' auto-mapping between Metric and BambooHR:

  • Don't Auto-map - select it if you are going to map employees manually
  • Auto-map by email - Metric employees and BambooHR users with the same email in both systems will be automatically mapped
  • Auto-map by name - Metric employees and BambooHR users with the same name in both systems will be automatically mapped

Time-Off Project

This setting allows you to select a Metric Time Off project to import Time Offs from BambooHR.
