How to enable Time Reminders
Permissions needed: View Organization Reminders and Edit Organization Reminders
To add a new reminder:
- Select Settings from the left-side menu.
- Open Reminders.
- Click the +NEW REMINDER button.
- Select a reminder type.
- Missing hours: This type allows you to remind employees to log their time if they have logged fewer hours than their capacity every day, week, or month. This reminder will be sent to users who have logged less time than their capacity.
- Timesheet submission: This type allows you to remind employees to submit their timesheets if they have not submitted them yet every week or month. This reminder will be sent to users who have not yet submitted their timesheet.
- Timesheet review: This type allows you to remind managers to review the submitted timesheets if they have timesheets for review every week or month. This reminder will be sent to managers if the users they are supposed to review have timesheets in the status of Submitted, Draft, or Rejected.
- Click the Customize button if you need to customize the reminder message that will be sent to employees.
- Select the recipients. The reminders can be sent to everyone in the organization, a specific group, or a specific employee.
- Select a periodicity, day, time, and time zone.
- Input a description (optional). This description will not be shown to recipients of the reminder. It will be presented in the list of reminders.
How to disable Time Reminders
Permissions needed: View Organization Reminders and Edit Organization Reminders
To remove a reminder:
- Select Settings from the left-side menu.
- Open Reminders.
- Click a pencil icon on a reminder to remove.
- Click the Delete button.
