Metric.ai allows you to import deals from HubSpot. Data is pulled from HubSpot multiple times per day.
How to Connect
- Sign in to HubSpot.
- Sign in to Metric AI.
- In Metric, select Settings from the left-side menu.
- Go to the Integrations,
- Click the +NEW INTEGRATION button.
- Select HubSpot from the list of integrations and authorize it.
Configure Settings
- Go to the Configure section.
- Enable/Disable the Sync Deals Names setting.
- Select the Deals Budget Template that will be applied to deals imported from HubSpot.
- Enable/Disable the Import Deal Amount setting.
- Define the Stages to Import Deals.
- Define the Metric Deal Status: Active.
- Define the Metric Deal Status: Planning.
- Define the Metric Deal Status: Closed.
- Define the Stages for Conversion to Project.
- Select the Import Client Assignments, Client Auto Mapping, and Client Auto-creation Limit.
- Save it.
Sync Deals Names
The Enable Sync Deals Names
setting changes names of deals in Metric mapped to deals in HubSpot based on their names in HubSpot.
Import Deal Amount
The Enable Import Deal Amount
setting updates the budget of deals in Metric mapped to deals in HubSpot based on their names in HubSpot.
Stages to Import Deals
The Stages to Import Deals
setting creates deals in Metric for each deal with a selected stage in HubSpot that has not yet been mapped to deals in Metric during the import.
If you have already created deals in Metric that correspond to deals in HubSpot, then you will need first to clear this setting and manually set mapping for the deals in Metric.
Metric Deal Status
These settings set statuses of deals in Metric based on their stages in HubSpot.
- Metric Deal Status: Active setting moves deals to Active status in Metric.
- Metric Deal Status: Planning setting moves deals to Planning status in Metric.
- Metric Deal Status: Closed setting moves deals to Closed status in Metric.
Stages for Conversion to Project
This setting converts a Deal in Metric to a Project based on their stages in HubSpot.
Client Import Settings
You can import the Clients from HubSpot based on the Companies by these settings:
- Import Clients Assignments:
- Don't Import.
- Import for deals.
- Import for deals and projects.

Client Auto Mapping:
- Don't Auto-map.
- Auto-map by names. In this case, the HubSpot companies will be mapped to the Metric clients by name.
- Auto-create by names. In this case, the HubSpot companies will be mapped to the Metric clients by name. If a client with that name is not found, it will be automatically created in Metric.
- Client Auto-creation Limit. If the integration attempts to create more clients than the limit at once.
Set Mapping
Instead of using auto-mapping or auto-creation Deals and Clients, you can manually set a 1:1 mapping between deals, companies in HubSpot, and deals, clients in Metric AI:
- Go to the Projects or Clients section.
- Set the mapping.
- Save.
Import Data from HubSpot
Periodicity
Metric runs a data import from HubSpot every 4 hours.
You can manually run the import by clicking the Force Update button.
The import can take a couple of minutes, depending on the number of records being imported.Last Update
displays the date and time when the last import was finished. Refresh the page to see the updated data in Metric.
Imported Data
Metric imports following data from HubSpot for mapped leads:
- Deals (HubSpot) → Deals (Metric AI).
- Companies (HubSpot) → Clients (Metric AI).
