The Metric.ai interface is created in a modern and simple way. It’s especially clear once you understand the core principles behind it.
Everything in Metric.ai is a data point. Every data point is input in analytics. On the top, we see organization analytics, which is the total result of all activities of the organization to the moment:
As any service company, Metric.ai connects projects and employees with the most flexible configuration on any level to be easily adapted to any agency’s organizational practice.
Each project in Metric.ai has a billing type configuration where you can set up rates in any way possible. Employees track time into the project, which is the source of expenses and revenues. Metric.ai also allows adding manual expenses and configuring billing on a task level. Each project has invoices to keep track of invoiced revenue.
Groups are a flexible approach to data segmentation. Each project at any time could be part of multiple groups: clients, departments, offices, and companies. Groups are categories for reporting. Employees are part of the same multiple groups plus roles group.
At any time you can see analytics for employees, projects, or any group as well as segment any metric by employee, project, and group.
