Metric.ai offers a weekly timesheet submission and review feature to facilitate time tracking for teams.
To access the functionality, navigate to the Home - My Time section. As an employee, you can input and submit your timesheet for the current week. Additionally, you can navigate to previous or future weeks using the arrow buttons located near the THIS WEEK button.
It is important to track all time in Metric.ai to a specific project task.
To input hours, start by selecting a project. Click on the +Add Project button:
Select a project from the dropdown list or input the first few letters to quickly find the desired project:
Once you have selected the project, proceed to choose a task or add multiple tasks to track your time towards them:
After selecting the tasks, you can input the hours in the table:
Input the time spent per task in the table and click the SUBMIT button. Once submitted, you will see that the timesheet has been successfully submitted, and a corresponding history entry will be recorded.
If you make a mistake in a timesheet that has not been approved by your manager yet, you can cancel the timesheet submission by clicking the UNSUBMIT button. This will allow you to make changes to the timesheet and update the time accordingly.
In some cases, it can be useful to add a comment to your time submission. To do so, click on the small triangle icon located in the cell's input field:
All operations performed on a timesheet, including submissions, approvals, and rejections, are recorded for future reference. This comprehensive recording of the timesheet's activity ensures a detailed history is maintained for reference purposes.
