Metric.ai allows you to import deals from Salesforce. Data is pulled from Salesforce multiple times per day.
How to Connect
- Sign in to Salesforce.
- Sign in to Metric AI.
- In Metric, select Settings from the left-side menu.
- Go to the Integrations,
- Click the +NEW INTEGRATION button.
- Select Salesforce from the list of integrations and authorize it.
Configure Settings
- Go to the Configure section.
- Select the Client Auto Mapping, and Client Auto-creation Limit.
- Select the Deals Budget Template that will be applied to deals imported from Salesforce.
- Define the Stages to Import Deals.
- Define the Metric Deal Status: Active.
- Define the Metric Deal Status: Planning.
- Define the Metric Deal Status: Closed.
- Define the Stages for Conversion to Project.
- Define the Sync Deals Names setting.
- Save it.
Sync Deals Names
The Enable Sync Deals Names
setting changes names of deals in Metric mapped to opportunities in Salesforce based on their names in Salesforce. It can be enabled for deals, or deals and projects in Metric.
Metric Deal Status
These settings set statuses of deals in Metric based on their stages in Salesforce.
- Metric Deal Status: Active setting moves deals to Active status in Metric.
- Metric Deal Status: Planning setting moves deals to Planning status in Metric.
- Metric Deal Status: Closed setting moves deals to Closed status in Metric.
Stages for Conversion to Project
This setting converts a Deal in Metric to a Project based on their stages in Salesforce.
Client Import Settings
You can import the Clients from Salesforce based on the Companies by these settings:

Client Auto Mapping:
- Don't Auto-map.
- Auto-map by names. In this case, the Salesforce companies will be mapped to the Metric clients by name.
- Auto-create by names. In this case, the Salesforce companies will be mapped to the Metric clients by name. If a client with that name is not found, it will be automatically created in Metric.
- Client Auto-creation Limit. If the integration attempts to create more clients than the limit at once.
Set Mapping
Instead of using auto-mapping or auto-creation Deals and Clients, you can manually set a 1:1 mapping between opportunities, companies in Salesforce, and deals, clients in Metric AI:
- Go to the Projects or Clients section.
- Set the mapping.
- Save.
Import Data from Salesforce
Periodicity
Metric runs a data import from Salesforce every 4 hours.
You can manually run the import by clicking the Force Update button.
The import can take a couple of minutes, depending on the number of records being imported.Last Update
displays the date and time when the last import was finished. Refresh the page to see the updated data in Metric.
Imported Data
Metric imports following data from Salesforce for mapped leads:
- Opportunities (Salesforce) → Deals (Metric AI).
- Companies (Salesforce) → Clients (Metric AI).
